Garden of Eden
Kiepersol is situated in the heart of the picturesque Lowveld, close to the town of Hazyview and barely a half hours’ drive from the Numbi Gate of the Kruger National Park. It is a forested and fruit plantation area on the Panorama Route, an area likened to the Garden of Eden, with green hills, banana plantations, avocado trees, mango trees and macadamia nuts.
Kiepersol is the perfect breakaway, an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate mind and body! Like its sister town of Hazyview, boasts a rather unique beauty and an abundance of exciting activities and the area as proved to be a popular adventure biking and tourism destinations thanks to the undulating and winding farm roads. Motorbike enthusiasts have said it is one of the best areas in the world to go cruising and many motorbike rallies and tours are organized around here.
Other popular activities include hiking, river rafting, fly-fishing, cycling, horse trails and hot air ballooning, birdwatching and golfing at the excellent Sabie River Championship Golf Course just on the outskirts of town.

Kiepersol receives approximately 740 mm of rain annually with most of its annual rainfall during Summer.
Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 15˚C and 31˚C.
Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 9˚C and 24˚C.
Kiepersol is named after the indigenous Cabbage Tree, also called the Kiepersol, and which is found all over the Lowveld area. It is also believed that the name 'Kiepersol' comes from the Portuguese Quinta-sol or Indian Kitty-sol, which are both words for a parasol or sunshade.
