The Pearl of All Beaches

The beautiful beach in the small seaside village of Pearly Beach is still the same "pearl of all beaches" that earned it its name decades ago. It has been described as the longest undisturbed beach in the Western Cape, true or not, the beach is famous as it seems to continue forever.

Great sand dunes, dappled with indigenous fynbos, border this haven of endless white beach where long walks are a popular pastime. Joggers often enjoy stretching their legs on these sandy shores which offer outstanding scenery and views.

Pearly Beach is a popular angling spot, and on some weekends the beach is lined with fishermen. The rocky outcrops along the beach create fantastic places for anglers to cast their lines out in hopes of a big catch.

Rock pools are visible at low tide, packed with interesting sea life waiting to be explored and in season, Perlemoen and crayfish diving is a popular sport – be sure to get your permit and bring along your diving gear!
