Sardinia Bay Beach in Sardinia Bay, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape

Sardinia Bay Beach or as the locals like calling it, “Sards”, is a spectacular beach on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth’s suburban centre.

The beach is miles upon miles of beautiful sandy stretches that are flanked by high sand dunes on the one side and crystal clear blue ocean on the other. There are many rock pools and small swimming bays that are just perfect for families with little ones without the worry of the ocean, which can be wild and is not recommended for kids or inexperienced swimmers either.

Sardinia Bay Beach is animal friendly with horse riders trotting along this stretch of coast and dog lovers eagerly taking their furry friends with them on walks, provided they are kept on their leash.
