SA’s Premier Boat Show

The Cape Town International Boat Show, South Africa’s oldest and premier boat show, is the highlight of the local events calendar for Cape Town. The show is hosted by one of the country’s top tourist attractions, the  V & A Waterfront, and is set against the backdrop of one of the Natural Wonders of the World, Table Mountain.

Fondly referred to as the “Granddaddy of boat shows on the African continent”, this year the visitors can expect bigger and better than ever before! This lifestyle, adventure and outdoors show showcases all the latest in boats, water sports and equipment from luxury motor yachts and sailing catamarans to entry level boats, outboard motors, electronic equipment, water toys for the whole family. 

The CTICC also plays host to a “dry land” part of the show and this will include powerboats of all shapes and sizes, plus all the sporting gear that goes with them such as skies and wakeboards. The speakers will also be covering subjects such as water safety, career opportunities on he waves and there will be a presentation by the Amazon explorer Davey du Plessis.

In addition, there will be a wide range of family orientated activities, food a plenty and a bar with a stunning view of the biggest boat display afloat in SA.  The Boat Show has been attracting thousands of fans over the years and is a must for all sailing and boating enthusiasts!
