Welcome to Drie Berge Karavaanpark...
Come and enjoy the bushveld atmosphere and sounds, bird calls, and murmurings of the river. Relax in a peaceful atmosphere between the mountains, alongside the Crocodile river, where you can still hear the cry of the Fish Eagle. A real paradise for birding, hiking and fishing!
Our campsite amidst the mountains, bushveld and river give you an experience you will come back to, time after time!
Drie Berge is in Madibeng, in the Bonjanala Region of North-West Province, near Brits. The Park, with its neat ablutions, is situated only 7km from the nearby town of Brits, with its shopping facilities and Mall - roughly a 60 min. drive from Pretoria and 90 min. drive from Johannesburg.
We have 39 stands, all with 220V electricity, borehole water and portable braais. Most have shady trees and grass. Communal ablutions are practical, functional and wheelchair friendly and are regularly cleaned throughout the day. There are private family bathrooms, ample hot water, electric razor points, chemical toilet disposal, washing lines and wash bays.
We are security-fenced, electrified and patrolled. We are also linked to a security reaction force.
Our recreation area is within a few minutes walk from the quiet camping site and fishing areas alongside the river. We have a large outdoor swimming pool, nearby shady trees, tables, chairs, braais, an undercover veranda and shade nets. There is a small shop to buy necessities such as wood, ice, cold drinks, sweets, etc. Regret no card facilities and cigarettes and liquor are not sold.
Bring your own equipment (or hire from us) to use the tennis, table tennis, darts, pool table, volleyball and rugby facilities free of charge. You are welcome to use the trampoline, swings and kids playground. There is a rugby pole for the aspirant Blue Bulls to test their skills!
Between 1-31 July and the 1st week of the first school term, the park is closed for camping, day visitors and making reservations.
