East London Golf Course

Set in the heart of the Eastern Cape, East London Golf Course is regarded by many as a must play for any golfer, for it is steeped in South African golfing history.

The course is an 18-hole course with Kikuyu fairways and Bent Grass greens. The course boasts a length of 6 038m and 5 281m for the ladies and by combining Links and Parklands style skilfully, it has created the championship course that you see today. It has been selected to host 6 South African Opens and is a regular host to the National and Regional Champs.

The coastal course has spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and of Nahoon Reef, a world-famous surf break, that is also subject to the prevailing winds which only adds to the great challenge this course gives its players. The course is also home to many animals such as Impala, the Knysna Loerie and a variety of other birdlife, ensuring an all-round excellent experience for the player, the likes that is very hard to find anywhere else!

The signature par 4, ninth hole, one of the countries premiere holes, takes you on a journey from an elevated tee off over the fairways and into an indigenous bush-frames valley, leaving you breathless and reminiscing for years to come.
