Kasouga Strand in Ndlambe Platteland, Oos-Kaap
Kasouga Beach is a sight for sore eyes with its sweeping shoreline of golden sands and the majestic Ship Rock.
Artists and photographers flock to the area to capture the stunning beauty of the beach, the surrounding farms and in fact, the entire coastline.
Because this is such a quiet beach and not overcrowded with people, it has abundant bird and wildlife, including the rare Oribi antelope and the shy Bushbuck.
Kasouga Beach is a great place to swim, tan or just relax. For the more active you can go canoeing, surfing, hiking or for a long walk along the unspoiled beach.
Fish, rays and sharks can be caught from one of the many outstanding fishing spots.
