The Mossel Bay Golf Course is situated in  Mossel Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa.

The course is an 18-hole, Par 72 Links style course. It is 5 940 metres long with combination kikuyu and cynoden fairways and bent grass greens. The course was originally designed by Bob Grimsdell in 1924 and was then redesigned in 1999/2000 by Danie Obermeyer.

The course is famous for its ocean views from every tee and for its upmarket architecture. It prides itself in its friendliness and efforts to ensure that every player has the best experience possible. The course is an easy walk with stunning views and the occasional roaming Springbok which may distract you from your game. It caters to all levels of players and ability and will leave all players well satisfied with their game.

The Club offers first class facilities and service and a round of golf at the Mossel Bay Golf Course is the perfect way to start a golf tour along the very scenic  Garden Route.

Fees

Green fees are between R110 and R325. Prices are subject to change so it is recommended that interested parties contact the Golf Course directly. Visitors are very welcome, but bookings are required. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Public Holidays are competition days.

Climate

Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 16˚C and 27˚C with high rainfall in March and October.

Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 7˚C and 21˚C with the lowest rainfall in June and July.

Transport

Commercial Airlines offer flights into  George Airport, 50 km from Mossel Bay. Car hire facilities are located at the Airports.
