South Africa
skoonheid jy sal nooit vergeet nie

The charming seaside village of Morgan Bay lies along the picturesque Wild Coast of South Africa, less than an hour from East London, and offers some of the finest beaches in the country. The main beach, Morgan Bay Beach, is surrounded by magnificent sea cliffs and the invitingly warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

The sea may be known for its wild waves and awesome surfing conditions, there is a point break that produces perfect right hand barrels that funnel into the bay, but there is also a tranquil lagoon perfect for swimming even for the little ones.

The beach is flat and sandy, just right for ball games like cricket or rugby and the long mile-stretch is often dotted with people jogging, strolling or walking their dogs – yes dogs are welcome! Further up the beach, the dunes are great for sandboarding and the long stretch welcomes Fishermen to fish right off the beach where they can catch kob, garrick, white steenbras and an array of smaller fish.

Morgan Bay Beach is protected by lifeguards during the peak December season making it a safe beach for all ages, so pack the picnic basket and bring the family for a fun day in the sun!
