Karoo Mighty Men Conference (KMMC)

The Karoo Mighty Men Conference (KMMC) was inspired by Angus Buchan’s Mighty Men Conferences held at his farm Shalom in Natal. Just a short distance, approximately 15 km’s, from the historic town of  Middelburg in the Eastern Cape is the Renosterfontein Farm (Rusoord Retreat), the venue for the Karoo Mighty Men Conference (KMMC).

“Come as you are, His arms are wide open”

Angus believes that God wants us to become his Ambassadors in order to reconcile man to God and man with man. The purpose of the Karoo Mighty Men Conference is therefore to help change men’s lives by reuniting them with God and in turn them, returning home to love their families and neighbours in ways they have never done before.

Angus’s message to the country’s men is to step out in faith and practically live the messages of the Bible – to love your wife, do God’s will, forgive others as you would be forgiven and love your neighbours as you love yourself. It is a powerful message and all South African men are invited to join to learn of faith and miracles and how to become Ambassadors of God.

Praise and worship at the Karoo Mighty Men Conference involves a crowd of individual believers coming together, in reverence of the Lord. This is a wonderful opportunity for the people of the Karoo to unite and seek God in worship and praise. All are welcome, even those with the hardest of hearts and those who feel far from God for His arms are always open! Two of South Africa's foremost musicians, Retief Burge and Dewald Gouws will be be leading the praise and worship this year at the Karoo Mighty Men Conference 2017. Both men know and love the Karoo and invite all to come praise and worship the Lord with song in the vastness of the Karoo where His glory is so evident!
