Kitchen Windows in Jeffreys Bay is an exposed beach and reef break that has consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. It is a peak breaking left and right and works better on low tide.

It's a lot better than it looks from the beach and if you get it on a good day Kitchen Windows offers some epic rides. Although suitable for all standards of surfer, it is generally surfed by beginners and is not considered world class. It can be a bit of a paddle to get out on bigger days. Ideal winds are from the west northwest and it can have nice walls and the odd tube, its kind of wedgy as well. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southeast.

When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Beware of sharks, rocks, and mussel shells.
