Letaba River Road

The S44 turnoff is only 1km from the Olifants Camp. On this gravel road the sightings are not plentiful, but with its rocky surroundings it still makes an interesting drive, escpecially with the beautriful view of the Olifants River every now and then. 

At the Olifants River lookout point you have a breathtaking view of the Olifants river close to the Letaba/Olifants confluence. Be on the lookout for herds of elephant or buffalo and giraffe down in the river. Crocodiles and Hippos are in abundance. Saddle billed storks and grey heron can often be seen in the
