Open Air Spring Wine Festival

Robertson Wine Valley proudly presents the 13th annual Wine on the River Festival which will once again be taking place on the banks of the Breede River.

Wine tasting is the star of the show and visitors can look forward to more than 300 wines from 40 different wineries. Some of the participating wineries include Van Loveren, De Wetshof, Arabella, Robertson Cellar, Rooiberg, Springfield, Graham Beck and many more award-winning Wine Estates.

In addition to the wines, there will also be cheese, olive, coffee, chocolate and nougat tastings. Buy delicious meals at the country food stalls, picnic along the river, check out the Robertson Farmers Market or have a lazy lunch at the Riverside Restaurant. To round the afternoon off, the festival will also provide excellent outdoor entertainment for the kids and the best from the local South African music scene.

Come unwind, relax and enjoy fresh country air, beautiful scenery and warm spring sunshine!

Glamping

New to the festival is the Glamping Package! This includes, camping, star gazing, open campfires, roasted marshmallows and all the benefits of camping without sacrificing the luxury! Only 15km from the festival sight, couples can glamp on the banks of the river in style and this doesn’t require you to carry any heavy tents around either. Costs are per couple sharing a tent and includes the accommodation for the two of you for the whole weekend, the weekend festival pass, boat cruises, shuttles to and from the site on Saturday and a complimentary bottle of wine!
