Local Leaders Hall
The Local Leaders Hall houses a whole section dedicated to the Liberation Struggle in the Vaal Area up until the signing of the New South African Constitution in 1996. The Vaal Triangle played a central role during this era of our history.
Sedibeng Heritage Hall
The Sedibeng Heritage Hall houses the Heritage Section of the Sedibeng District Municipality, including palaeontology, stone age and iron age artefacts found in the Vaal area, examples of unique and mysterious rock engravings found near Vereeniging, classic vehicles and other items related to the industrial history of Vereeniging and photographs from the Anglo-Boer War, including images of the concentration camps in Vereeniging and nearby Heidelberg. The town of Vereeniging and its people played very important roles in bringing the war to an end therefore part of the Heritage Exhibition is dedicated to the South African War.
