“A Rooiberg Celebration”

The charming town of Rooiberg will be hosting the Bushveld Paradise Festival this June, a unique and family fun events which includes fun runs/walks, entertainment, crafts and some good old fashioned, mouth-watering, hearty winter bushveld food!

Friday, 16 June is Youth Day and Rooiberg kicks its Bushveld Festival off with a day of Trail Runs/Walks suitable for all ages, all of which are organised by Fresh Tracks Original Tours. The whole day will be a family fun affair with live entertainment, jumping castles, face painting, drinks, food, games and treats!

Saturday will be bringing along even more entertainment, with evening ticket holders enjoying an evening festival concert featuring Elvis Blue, Bianca Wood and a few other popular South African music stars. The craft exhibition offers visitors time to browse for gifts, art, clothes, jams and so much more. Great meals from potjie kos to braaivleis, wine and craft beer will ensure festival goers will be well fed and looked in the good old South African tradition.

Visitors spending the weekend in Rooiberg are welcome to join in the Sunday for a lekker kuier breakfast when the stalls, food court, beer, wine and musical surprise will continue until just after lunch. Get you tickets early and spend a weekend in the company of some good old South African hospitality!
