Calling All Daredevils

Feel like doing something a little daring? The Hollard Daredevil Run is a fun 5 Km Run with a difference that also makes a difference. This epic Run is now in its’ eighth year and invites men of all ages, shapes and sizes to take to the streets in dashing purple speedos to “run cancer out of town”!

Four cities across the country, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and  Mbombela (Nelspruit) will all participate together in the fun run to beat cancer by promoting early detection of male cancers to save lives. Prevention is better than cure and so the Daredevil Run, which started as a pub dare back in 2009, has become one of Hollard’s highest-profile, most worthy and most fun charity events, raising awareness and funding.

So if you brave enough to don the purple speedo and run through peak-hour traffic for a good cause then sign up for the run, get yourself checked and join batallions of brave men and the women who support them, and together we help run cancer outta town.

Rules & Regulations

• Obey the instructions of the road traffic officers and marshals and stay on the sections of the road demarcated for you – so no spontaneous streaking please.
• Daredevil participants you must complete the run in two hours or less (so get training!).
• As a Daredevil Runner, you may not sell your entry number, nor allow anyone else to participate in the run using your unique number.
