Plettenberg Bay Golf Course

The Plettenberg Bay Golf Course is an 18-hole, 72 Par Parklands golf course with Kikuyu Grass Fairways and Bent Grass Greens. The course is 6 260 meters in length.

The course was designed by Robert Hawtree and opened in 1977. It was recently upgraded to international standards by Robert O’Friel, truly setting it apart from the other small town courses along the Garden Route.

The Golf Club is set in a private nature reserve and is easy to walk. It offers a challenge to all levels of golfers and all greens and bunkers are to USGA specifications. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful with no intrusive houses or traffic noise and is populated with mostly indigenous flora and fauna. The most distracting thing about playing on this course would be the occasional monkey, bushbuck or deer!
