Open Water Charity Swim

The Winelands Masters Swimming Club invite all to attend and participate in the 17th annual Winelands Charity Swim. The venue is once again the beautiful Calais Wine Estate, about 40 minutes from Cape Town, where visitors can enjoy the events of the day in a great atmosphere with breath-taking views.

The charity event swim offers three events which includes a junior category, a relay category and the main Mile Challenge Swim at 10H30 sharp! All proceeds from the swim will be forwarded to the Drakenstein Intermediate Care Centre in Luthando.

The event is so much more than just the swim challenge so if you do not consider yourself a swimming enthusiast there is still plenty of other entertainment on offer giving you a good reason to attend.  Plenty of kids’ activities, delicious food and refreshments on sale, plus wine tasting and sales for the wine enthusiasts. The event has gain wide popularity and promises to be a fun day for the whole family!

It is highly recommended to take a day off to soak up the sun on the rolling lawns, appreciate the stunning views and enjoy lunch at the water’s edge – its’ for a good cause!

Find Us

Travel north on the N1 highway towards Paarl/ Worcester. Take Sonstraal Road – 62A Turnoff and keep left towards Dal Josafat Pass, BP on your left.

Over the stop street Travel for 2.5 km on Sonstraal Road.

Pass Ashanti Wine Estate on your right, turn right onto Swawelstert Road.

Continue for 1.7 km until you reach Waterfall Road,  turn right and you will see the white walls marked CALAIS
