pheZulu Safari Park is situated in the Valley of 1000 Hills in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is about 35 km outside the city of Durban.
This picturesque park has magnificent views of the Valley of 1000 Hills and the Gasa Clan, has over the last 30 years, allowed visitors to join in their traditions and savour the taste and feel the rhythm of Africa.
Inside the beehive shaped huts visitors are educated on various beliefs and rituals of the Zulu tribe. Traditional Zulu dancers show off their skills in a truly unforgettable experience and visitors are invited to experience traditional shield making.
The park offers 1 hour game drives to visitors who will be able to view game such as wildebeest, impala, zebra and giraffe. If it’s reptiles you prefer why not take the tour of the Crocodile and Snake Park and get up close and personal with Cleo, the 42 kg Burmese Python. If you are 18 years or older why don’t you try out the “Fear Factor” experience and enjoy your lunch inside the crocodile enclosure!

Climate
Durban has a warm climate throughout the year with colder evenings in the winter months and rainfall in the summer months
Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 15˚C and 29˚C.
Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 7˚C and 20˚C.
Transport
There are Domestic and International flights into Durban’s King Shaka Airport on a daily basis. Bus services, taxis and car rental companies are available for easy access around the area.
