Lwandile Bay Beach forms part of the Eastern Cape’s Wild Coast, which is home to many beaches and extends up the eastern side of the country, it is characterised by its rural charm and unbeatable beauty.

Lwandile Bay Beach is a secluded and unspoilt beach that forms part of the Transkei's Wild Coast which stretches for 300 miles. It is in pristine condition due to it being relatively unexplored. It truly is a beach for anyone wanting to get away for a little while and relax. It never gets crowded, even in the busy seasons. This gives you the ability to come and go as you please knowing you’re not going to lose your favourite spot.

In the winter months you will still enjoy this as a great surf spot thanks to the exposed Lwandile River mouth creating amazing breaks. Throughout the rest of the year this beach is a perfect fishing paradise and great for snorkelling too. If you are just here for a swim, the Indian ocean is lovely and warm.

If you are an avid whale or dolphin watcher, this is the place for you, with whales and dolphins easily spotted here from about July to November.

Don’t miss out on this glorious beach on your Wild Coast adventure!
