Lovers Walk is also some times referred to as Mayor's Walk by the locals. 

Starting at the upper end of Barry Street It is a short 500m walk along the banks of the Keisie River, below Kanonkop, through to Joubert Park. It is an ideal extension to the Badskloof trail.
