International Expo for Hospitality & Catering

Hostex is South Africa’s leading hospitality and culinary expo for good reason, powering Food and Hospitality Africa, making the event the largest Pan-African food, drink and hospitality trade expo. Hostex is also the only exhibition of its kind in Africa and the only one endorsed by the South African Chefs Association.

This year promises to be the biggest and best ever with a range of added value features for exhibitors and visitors. The Expo is expected to attract more or less, about 10 000 trade attendees over the three days and visitors can expect a jam-packed line-up of cooking programs by top SA Chefs as well as exciting competitions for students and up and coming chefs. Another exciting activity and back by popular demand is the Global Pizza Challenge where participants’ cook-off to make the most delicious and masterful pizza in the grand finale. Innovation is at the top of the shopping list at this event!

With the Expo’s focus on the hospitality and catering industries, Hostex offers visitors an opportunity to discover and view all the latest products, equipment and services that are now available to them all under one roof.

A new addition to the show is the Mixology ShakeUp demonstrations and it is here that you will learn how to make those fashionable cocktails everyone talks about! We also recommend not missing out on the Speciality Coffee sector which has always been a firm favourite showcasing the skills of talented Barristas!
