Malmesburg Golf Course in Mount Royal Golf & Country Estate, Malmesbury, Western Cape

The Malmesbury Golf Course is a popular course among locals and Capetonians as the attractive course is only a 40 minute drive from Cape Town.

The course is a 9-hole, 36 Par Parklands golf course, 3nbsp;033 meters in length with kikuyu fairways and bent grass greens. The Malmesbury Golf Course was established in 1960 and there are currently plans to expand it to an 18-hole layout as it has now been incorporated into the adjacent Mount Royal Golf and Country Estate.

The undulating layout of the course is extremely well manicured and the tree-lined fairways well maintained. It presents an unsympathetic test for golfers on all levels and therefore offers everyone an interesting game to say the least.

The course offers beautiful views of the Paardeberg Mountains and Table Mountain is clearly visible on clear days. Guests welcome and don’t forget your hat and sunblock in Summer!

Green fees are approximately R100 to R255 per person, excluding extras. Prices are subject to change, please contact the Golf Club to confirm.

Traveling from Cape Town, take the N7 towards Moorreesburg.

Take the 2nd turn-off to  Malmesbury and follow the signboards to the golf course.

The course is situated just off the N7.
