Jones Dam in Central Region, Kruger National Park, Limpopo

Jones Dam is situated to the west of the S36 gravel road, close to the H1-2.  The dam is surrounded by mixed bushwillow. This is a nice place to spend some quiet time.

Elephants often comes around to cool down during a hot summers day, while kudu, impala, warthog and giraffe can also be seen.

Lions have been spotted from time to time, and a few rare leopard sightings have also been reported.
