Découvrir l'Afrique du Sud
Sors ta tête du sable

The small village community of Coffee Bay offers a unique taste of rural Africa with magnificent natural beauty, starting with its main beach, Coffee Bay Beach.

Coffee Bay Beach stretches from the mouth of Nenga River and is backed by dramatic black-faced cliffs and grassy hills. The beach is simply spectacular and popular with the many backpackers that frequent this little part of paradise. In addition to the backpackers, sunbathers may on more than one occasion notice horse riding groups casually meandering along the stretch of white sand.

The rocky area off the beach’s southern point is home to one of the few consistent surf spots on the Wild Coast. This rock formation is also responsible for some great fishing, feeding the locals and tourists alike. Along the beach you can also find crisscrossed trails that lead to beautiful scenic views through the local villages and one of the most popular hiking trails stretches from Coffee Bay Beach to the Hole in the Wall.

If you are visiting Coffee Bay you are obviously a beach enthusiast and you couldn’t have chosen a more peaceful and “far from the maddening crowd” beach spot!
