Sors ta tête du sable

Keurbooms Beach, lies north east of the Keurbooms River and has spectacular views. The town and beach were named after the indigenous keurboom tree which grows in the region.

Your direct line of sight across the bay is of Robberg Peninsular and nature reserve.

Where the Keurbooms River meets the Bitou River it forms a lagoon with an island. This estuary is one of the best examples of a tidal river mouth on the Garden Route. Here there is a continual hive of activity with fishing, boat cruises and skiing. You can also take a canoe and explore the river for yourself.
