Harties Champagne Festival

A First For Harties

The attractive and popular tourist spot of Hartbeespoort Dam is set to host, for the first time this year, The Harties Champagne Festival – also a one of a kind event for the Madibeng Region. Originally booked for the end of October, the Festival moved to late November due to increased interest and late entries from even more interested exhibitors. The highly anticipated event will now take place on 20 November 2016.

The village of Hartbeepoort, Afrikaans for “pass of the Hartbeest” (antelope) is a popular holiday destination because of its many outdoor activities such as hiking trails, animal and bird sanctuaries, boating and wonderful outdoor restaurants. This makes the area a perfect spot for a festival such as this and the overwhelming interest and demand of this inaugural event only proved that the choice venue was correct.

The stylish occasion aims to offer private and corporate guests a once in a lifetime lavish experience with locally and internationally produced Champagne and MCC Brands on offer to sample. The Festival also aims to give locally produced champagnes a platform on which to introduce new brands to the guests.

The chosen venue has a breath-taking views of the majestic Magalisberg Mountains, the perfect setting for such an occasion! The event is set to be a memorable day on the social calendar!
