Fish Hoek Beach

Fish Hoek Beach is a very pleasant swimming beach and is great for sunbathing. The water is warmer than the Atlantic Ocean beaches and the waves are moderate in size. This is a great family beach with plenty of space for beach games, swimming and exploring.

Fish Hoek Beach stretches for just over a mile at the head of a beautiful bay, making it particularly suitable for walking, or jogging.

Clovelly, on the northern side of the beach, is very popular with surfers and kayakers.

On the southern end of the beach, the boardwalk hugs the coastline with absorbing tidal rock pools that offer hours of exploration. It's a fascinating walk, especially in whale season.

There is a café and restaurant that offers refreshments and tummy fillers with ice-cream being a firm favourite on a hot summer’s day.
