Découvrir l'Afrique du Sud
Sors ta tête du sable

Ysterplaat Airforce Museum is SA’s second largest military aviation museum. Situated in Milnerton, the Museum is a stone’s throw from Cape Town city centre.

This SAAF Satellite Museum in Ysterplaat displays a collection of aircraft that covers the full period of the SAAF’s existence, its operational activities as well as military and civil aviation in the Cape. Not only are there displays showing aircraft, weapons, engines and uniforms but also smaller displays of Royal Flying Corps memorabilia.

This museum houses a fascinating recording of the history of aviation in South Africa and has collected original records and articles of historical significance which are all on display alongside the main attractions, the aircraft.
