Family Bazaar

It’s that time of year again, DSK (German International School Cape Town) will once again be holding its’ biggest fundraiser of the year, the DSK Bazaar. It promises to be fun-filled day for the whole family with a wide range of entertainment and activities for all ages!

This is the perfect event for German food, music and beer lovers, plus the family Bazaar offers a large flea market for shoppers to browse through. The flea market is set up by parents, learners and teachers from each grade and the funds raised benefit the school directly. Items such as second-hand books, clothing and other fashionable flea market items will be available from the schools stands and outside exhibitors will similarly be promoting their products and services throughout the day.

The main attraction for the adults would be the spacious beer tent, which during the afternoon will be thumping out true “Oompah” music as well as covers from popular South African and German bands as well as naturally offering true German cuisine and plenty of Weissbier! Children and teenagers will likewise be entertained in the Fun Park with activities such as go-karting, soccer bubble, snow fights, petting zoo and a pool disco party at the schools outdoor swimming pool.

So bring along the whole family and enjoy a super fun day with delicious food, refreshments and the best entertainment for everyone!
