Buffalo Bay Beach, also known as Buffelsbaai, is a stunning beach, about half way between Knysna and Sedgefield, in the Goukamma Nature Reserve

This family beach offers blissful hours of canoeing, fishing, snorkeling, sunbathing, safe swimming, and surfing amidst unspoiled coastal vegetation.

Bottle-Nosed and common Dolphins are frequently spotted and Southern Right whales visit this section of the Cape coast annually between July and October.

For the energetic take a 7 km walk along the beach to Brenton On Sea and back. Here you will see some of the highest vegetated sand dunes in the world.

There is ample parking, ablutions, restaurants and a shop, conveniently situated inland.
