Year of the Bull

Bot River Spring Weekend 2018 will be taking place over the first weekend in September in the quaint town of Bot River in the Overberg Region.

The Bull takes centre stage among a myriad of exciting activities this year. The various fun-loving and fancy-free wineries will be celebrating the arrival of Spring with their own unique and bull-inspired themes. The highlight of the weekend of course will be the Bull Race – this does not however, involve any kind of running with bovines – it is in fact a scavenger hunt for grown-ups!

Participants of the Bull Race will be required to complete challenges prompted by a mobile phone app which offers guests a wonderful opportunity to learn about the town and win great prizes while doing so.

Guests will have to navigate their way around the Scavenger Hunt carefully so as not to miss out on all the other exciting activities taking place. The weekend will be full of exceptional wine, mouth-watering food, wonderful music and plenty more fabulous entertainment from yoga in the vineyards to private cellar dinners!
