The Tierberg Nature Reserve lies 4km on the outskirts of the town of Keimoes, on the road to the Augrabies Falls National Park.
It covers an area of 160 hectares that includes Tierberg and is noted for its winter-flowering aloes and its herds of springbok.
The lookout point gives a breathtaking view of the Orange River Valley and the many succulents that generally flower in spring.
