Monument Koppie in Springbok, Northern Cape
Monument Koppie, is a hill in the centre of Springbok which was wrested from the British by the Boer forces and is surrounded by Anglo-Boer War monuments.
The rocky remnants of the British fort that was dynamited by a commando unit led by General Jan Smuts can still be seen.
