Soweto Wine & Lifestyle Festival

Premium Lifestyle Event

The ever popular Soweto Wine & Lifestyle Festival , now in its 12th year, is the collaboration of Mnikelo Mangciphu, owner of Morara Wine and Spirit Emporium, Soweto’s only wine shop and Marilyn Cooper, CEO of the Cape Wine Academy in Johannesburg. The festival was designed to expose Johannesburg’s biggest township and its population to the Western Cape’s most acclaimed wines.

The festival has moved to its new summer season slot allowing the most vibrant suburb of Johannesburg an opportunity to introduce more exciting outdoor activities while still showcasing a fantastic combination of travel, arts & crafts merchandise, excellent food, music and of course some of South Africa’s best wine!

The Soweto Wine & Lifestyle Festival is all about everything made in South Africa and has become a “must-do” event on the tourism calendar in Johannesburg. The festival has expanded over the years and comfortably attracts about 8 500 patrons annually as well as extensive media coverage. There is a wide choice of all things to enjoy so plan for a weekend of great tastes and a festival that is bigger and better than ever before!
