Lourensford Market in Somerset West & vicinity, Western Cape
The Lourensford Wine Estate, one of the oldest and most renowned wine estates in the Cape, is the setting for the best Market experience in town.
The Lourensford Market launched in October 2014 and has since grown into one of the most popular in the Cape region. The beautifully custom built market area houses 77 stalls, all offering superior quality market items. The layout is one of a kind, arranged in a horseshoe shape around a large lawn area where children and friendly pooches are welcome to play. Tables and chairs are placed in the shade with superb views of the Hottentots Holland Mountains.
The 77 market stalls have a huge variety of fresh produce and an abundance of amazing craft, handmade goodies and art stalls. There is something for everyone, whether you feel like shopping for unique products, enjoy a scrumptious lunch or simply lazing under the shady oaks sipping on estate wine or craft beer while listening to live music, this Market has it all!
