The Tsendze Loop deviates off the H1-6 and runs mostly along the Tsendze river, which is a seasonal river and consists mostly of pools. The view of the riverine bush is a welcome change to the Mopani, which dominates this part of the Kruger.
Close to reaching the H1-6 again, is the confluence with the Nshawu river, which provides a beautiful scene where saddlebilled stork can be seen.
This loop is normally closed after heavy rains.
