A Horseback Adventure
With all the great horse riding trails along the Garden Route, visitors to the area may want to brush up on their riding skills. Ruiterbos is one these areas offering scenic horseback trails. It is a small community area, nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountain Range, in the Klein Karoo and the scenery is so breathtaking that the best way to experience it is by horseback allowing you to get as close to nature as is possible.
Bozzola Horse Trails is situated at the bottom of the Robinson Pass and offers horseback safaris for the young and old, the experienced riders or the first timers. An encounter with these powerful yet gentle animals is an experience all on its own.
The trails wind along the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains and crosses over plains and farms to follow through lush forests. Horses will take their riders up old footpaths and along streams where both horses and riders can cool off and stop for a drink. The panoramic views are spectacular and the ride is peaceful and slow, taking about 2 hours, so riders can take in their full of beauty of their surroundings.
After the trail ride, snacks and refreshments are provided back at the equestrian centre. Longer trails can be requested as well as shuttle services to the Estate.
Pricing is on request depending on experience and length of the trail and booking is essential. Please contact the Bozzola directly.
