The Gary Player Country Club Golf Course, situated at Sun City in the North West Province of South Africa is an 18-hole, 72 par walking course. The course is 6550 m in length.
Designed by the legendary Gary Player himself, this Golf Course has seen the likes of the most famous Golfers in the world. The annual Nedbank Golf Challenge is held at this venue and with a first prize of $2 million you will be sure to find the top golfers at this competition.

Sun City experiences rainfall mainly in the summer months with the highest occurring in December.
Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 15˚C and 30˚C.
Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 2˚C and 20˚C.
There are daily local and international flights into O R Tambo International Airport and Lanseria International Airport. Tour Buses and car rental facilities are available for tourists heading out to Sun City. Bus Tours would need to be pre-arranged with the Resort, a travel Agent or Tour Operator.

Gary Player was born in Johanneburg in 1935 and at age 29, after winning the 1965 U.S. Open, he became the only non-American to win all four majors and only the third golfer in history to win the Career Grand Slam.
Today he is also a renowned golf course architect and has 325 projects on five different continents. The Gary Player Country Club Golf Course opened in 1979 and today it still holds the rank as South Africa’s best Golf Course.
