Olifants Bad Pan ("elephant's bath"). is the main waterhole along the H1-6.

Like most other pans in the north, this one becomes really interesting only after good rains. Early summer thunderstorms results in millions of termites from the ground, attracting a feeding frenzy of fdifferent birds of prey: eagles, hawks, buzzards and falcons, which gorge themselves on the high protein delicacies.
