Kanniedood Dam in Far North Region, Kruger National Park, Limpopo
Kanniedood dam (afrikaans for "cannot die") lies south east of Shingwedzi Camp on the S50.
The rare saddled-billed stork is plentiful and a variety of other water birds can also be seen.
Browsers such as nyala, waterbuck and kudu are regulars in the area and elephants are also a common sight.
Lions and leopard can be seen on occasion.
