Kanniedood Dam

Kanniedood dam (afrikaans for "cannot die") lies south east of Shingwedzi Camp on the S50.

The rare saddled-billed stork is plentiful and a variety of other water birds can also be seen.

Browsers such as nyala, waterbuck and kudu are regulars in the area and elephants are also a common sight.

Lions and leopard can be seen on occasion.
