Letaba, meaning River of Sand, is a wonderfully lush, treed camp with resident bushbuck and superb views of the Letaba River where elephant and buck can be spotted. This is elephant country, but rare animals species, such as eland, may also be seen. Areas worth visiting include the Engelhard and Mingerhout dams and the Matambeni Hide.
Letaba offer morning, sunset and night drives, bush braais, guided day walks, a swimming pool and also for day visitors there is an area outside the camp with a pool and braai facilities. Also available is a mini-ATM and postbox.
The camp is a good stopover before entering the Limpopo National Park in Mocambique via Giriyondo Gate.
