Krokodil Sentrum in St Lucia & vicinity, KwaZulu-Natal
The Crocodile Centre can be found within the Isimangaliso Wetland Park a recently declared World Heritage Site. Although the Centre has evolved into an educational and tourist facility, it still conducts vital research on crocodiles and annual numbers are undertaken.
Self-guided walks, with the aid of an informative booklet can be taken or you may prefer to book a guided tour. The Centre has all three species of African Crocodiles as well as snake park open to the public.

- Snake Display Section : the centre is one of only four permit holders that are allowed to keep the impressive Gaboon Adder in captivity.

The Centre is managed by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and was established in 1979 by the late Tony Pooley. Originally a research centre for the study of crocodiles, the Centre has evolved into an educational and tourist facility showcasing the splendour of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
