Imbasa has two beautiful 18 hole golf courses in its proximity. The Kimberley Golf Club was established in 1890 and is seeped in history and Magersfontein Memorial. This recently opened 18 hole course is built on historic ground where Bushmen lived for thousands of years.

Fly Fishing, white water tubing and canoeing

Lillydale is one of the top fly fishing destinations in South Africa. Lillydale is situated along the Rietriver and also offers white water tubing (OK for kids too), canoeing, and fantastic views. At a fly fishing excursion you will be hosted by a professional fly fishing guide who will provide boats, rod and tackle and any assistance you may require. The fishing is based on a catch and release policy, so don’t forget to bring your camera!

Kimberley

Kimberley is famous as a diamond centre and guests can visit the incredible “Big Hole“, the diamond museum and 1890′s replica township. The new Diamond World experience showcases the unique attractions of diamonds. Visitors will be taken through all aspects of the magic of diamonds, from creation, how diamonds are recovered, treated, cut and polished, through to sales and marketing.

A trip along the Anglo-Boer War & Battlefields Route Tour and a visit to Magersfontein with its museum commemorating one of the most battles of the war, gives the visitor a unique historical experience.
