South Africa
plekke wat jy nooit sal vergeet nie

The Kimberley Golf Course is situated in Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province, South Africa.

The course is an 18-hole, 71 par parklands golf course. The course is 6 229 metres in length.

Designed by the late Bob Grimsdell, the course is particularly player friendly, flat but challenging. It is somewhat of a Jekyll and Hyde quality with a distinct green summer appearance and a contrasting white winter look. In its’ early years, Cecil John Rhodes was one the Clubs first members and more recently the course was the location of Ernie Els’s maiden pro victory back in 1990.

The Golf Course is also home to the annual “Barney Barnato Festival of Golf”, held in October each year.
