Zombi Walk & Festival

South Africa’s Biggest Halloween Event

Zombie Walk

Participants of all ages will for the 9th time, take to the streets of Cape Town dressed as the undead. Together participants will help raise funds for the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected animals. The all ages event makes it fun for the whole family and of course your pets are welcome to join in, making it the only pet friendly event of its kind.

The event has grown from only 180 participants in 2009 to thousands of Zombie lovers gathering to groan and limp around Cape Town, dressed in their scariest costumes imaginable. Based on the growth of the festival, 2017 should be the biggest yet. Safety for this festival is of utmost importance. The event has a 100% safety rating, with not a single drop of real blood spilt! So, put on your best ghoulish make-up and head out for hours of fun with fellow Halloween Party People!

Some Basic Rules

  • Obey the marshals, security staff, medical staff and traffic officers at ALL times
  • Mock weapons are welcome, however all blades MUST be fake and all firearms must have an ORANGE TIP.
  • Consumption of alcohol during the walk is prohibited
  • Have fun!
