Kraalbaai Beach in West Coast National Park & vicinity, Western Cape

Kraalbaai Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach on the shores of the Langebaan Lagoon, within the popular West Coast National Park. The Park is close to the seaside villages of Langebaan and Saldanha and only an hour and half from Cape Town. Visitors would need to drive around the Lagoon, through the National Park, to reach Kraalbaai. This special part of the Park is a piece of paradise, peaceful and quiet, just as nature intended.

Kraalbaai beach offers plenty of opportunities such as boating, skiing and kayaking which are all allowed on the Lagoon. The water is calm, warm and shallow and therefore an ideal swimming spot which is also safe for smaller children. Sun worshippers will love this beach as they can enjoy a full day of sunbathing, sea and sand in a fairly secluded place. Only be aware, there are no shaded areas so be sure to remember plenty of sunscreen, beach umbrellas or gazebos when you packing for a braai or picnic on the beach.

Admission

There is an admission fee of between R22 and R70 per person to gain entry into the West Coast National Park. Prices are subject to change, please contact SAN Parks directly to confirm all prices.
