Sunshine Coast’s Little Treasure

Kleinemond Beach is situated in the small coastal suburb of the same name, less than 20 km’s east of Port Alfred. The setting is strikingly beautiful and the atmosphere quiet and peaceful, a combination that brings harmony back to one’s life.

Previously awarded provincial blue flag status, Klainemond Beach still offers great quality water and safe swimming conditions as well as clean facilities. The beach and town sit snug along the banks of the east and west Kleinemond River which flows into the sea through two lagoons on the beach front. The lagoons provide for wonderful water sports such as canoeing, windsurfing and stand-up paddling and the warm shallow waters are an enticing offering for children to play in.

This popular holiday beach is wide with lots of space to walk this wonderful coastline. The beach is ideal for early morning or evening strolls along the cool sand bordered by gorgeous indigenous vegetation. This spot is undeniably breath-taking to see and photograph!

Kleinemond is really about getting away from it all and its beach is a little treasure along the Sunshine Coast!
