South Africa
des couleurs inoubliables

Situated in the beautiful Winemaking valley of Robertson, surrounded by the magnificent Langeberg Mountains is the Silwerstrand Golf and River Estate, home to the Robertson Golf Course. The vineyards and orchards of neighbouring farms add to the already beautiful scenery golfers can enjoy from both the greens and fairways.

The course is an 18-hole, 72 Par Links style golf course, 6 135 meters in length. The course was designed by Danie Obermeyer and despite being such a young course, has already become a favourite with golfers in the Cape looking for a weekend break.

The Course is extremely golfer friendly with a good mix of long and short holes. Having said this, golfers will notice Danie’s signature “rivet-faced” bunkers that lie in wait for any wayward shots and that are very difficult to escape from. Stay within the borders is the best advice when playing this Course and look out for the 10th and 12th holes which are expected to be the toughest of the Course.

The cart path on the 18th hole is a unique feature of the course as it crosses an old aqueduct that used to accommodate the irrigation water for farms as far as Swellendam. Robertson Golf Course with its new and modern Clubhouse and stunning views is well worth the visit whether playing a game or just stopping in to admire the views and enjoy a meal.
