Arabella Golf Course in Arabella Country Estate, Overstrand Rural, Western Cape

The Arabella Golf Course is situated on the Country Estate of the same name close to the seaside towns of Kleinmond, Betty's Bay and Pringle Bay. The Course is surrounded by the scenic Kogelberg Mountains and lies alongside the Bot River Lagoon with luxurious views of Arabella’s own gardens.

The course is an 18-hole, 72 Par combination Links and Parklands golf course, 6 381 meters in length with kikuyu fairways and bent grass greens. Course architect, Peter Matkovich, designed this course to be a masterpiece and definitely did not disappoint. He is well known for his course design in the Cape and has also been the architect who created the beautiful and professional Leopard Rock, De Zalze and Pinnacle Point Courses.

The main challenges on this course are its tricky bunkers and rather inventive water hazards. Hole 18 has been voted the best finishing hole in South Africa and after sinking the 18th you can proudly add your name to the likes of golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Lee Westwood, Tim Clark and Gary Player who have all enjoyed a round here at Arabella. 

The Golf Club has been congratulated by the golfing community for their scenic surroundings, a beautiful mountain backdrop and flowing river, this golf course will give you all the sunshine and fresh air you need.

Arabella has been rated the 5th best golf course in South Africa and is home to the amazing African Pride Hotel and Spa which will leave you feeling relaxed after a long day of golf.

Remain on the N2 until the LEFT exit into the R43 road to Hermanus.

Remain on the R43 until the RIGHT turnoff into the R44 road to Kleinmond.

Arabella Country Estate is on the left hand side two minutes later.
